January 23, 2017, a Myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts" arrived in our God-saved church.
On January 7, we had the Divine Liturgy in honour of the Nativity of Christ that we celebrated in our church. During the service, the parish priest Father Alexander prayed in collaboration with Fr. Lubomir, Deacon John, Protodeacon Seraphim.
On October 9, 2016, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in our Temple on the occasion of the feast of Saint Romanos the Melodist, who is the heavenly patron of singers, and this day is celebrated as the feast of our church choir.
On August 28, the Divine Liturgy was served in our Temple on the occasion of the feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God. Liturgy was preceded by the all-night vigil the previous evening with the rank of the consecration of the loaves. During the liturgy, the parish priest Fr. Alexander in collaboration with Fr. Lubomir and the deacon of Fr. Seraphim prayed in the church.
On August 19, the Divine Liturgy in honour of the Transfiguration of the Lord was celebrated in St. George's Church. The Liturgy was served by the parish priest of the church Fr. Alexander in collaboration with the deacon Fr. Seraphim, who temporarily serves in our parish.
On August 4, Orthodox Christians celebrate the Day of Remembrance of the Holy Myrrh-bearer Mary Magdalene, Equal-to-the-Apostles, who, according to the scriptures, "stood on Calvary at the Cross, empathizing with the sufferings of the Redeemer and sharing the sorrow of the Mother of God."
